Komatsu Europe has announced the new HD785-8 Rigid Dump Truck. Komatsu manufactured their new Dump Truck based on their extensive experience and know- how, the HD785-8 promises high levels of safety, performance, comfort and productivity.

Power, performance and efficiency 

Komatsu’s leading truck will be used on mining and quarry applications, the HD785-8 has a EU Stage V Komatsu SAA12V140E-7 engine (849 kW / 1,140 HP) and 92.2 tonnes payload capacity.

The EU Stage V engine use dual Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filters (KDPF) – this new system keeps the regeneration performed passively, operator doesn’t need to perform any action and regeneration doesn’t interference to machine operation. Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), or AdBlue, is not required.

The HD785-8 has a 7-speed, fully automatic transmission with two selectable reverse speeds. The Komatsu Advanced Transmission with Optimum Modulation Control System (K-ATOMiCS) ensures smooth clutch engagement for a comfortable ride and reduced material spillage.

The HD785-8 has new wet multiple disc brakes on all wheels, the system provides great downhill brake retarding performance.

The new HD785-8 have 10.1 m turning Radius,it provides exceptional manoeuvrability to operator for positioning to dump. The Komatsu Traction Control System (KTCS) is standard on the HD785-8. KTCS automatically applies pressure to independent brake assemblies to keep the machine running on various ground conditions with optimum traction.
